Group Fitness Classes are included
with your membership! However, you may see a class with "extra
fee" next to it. These are classes in which the instructor
has elected to rent out our fitness studio from A Sante, therefore
the class requires a fee from the instructor.
CLASS
DESCRIPTIONS
Ashtanga
Yoga: This is an athletic type
of yoga, involving “power” poses while focusing on proper alignment
and breathing.
Trim
and Tone: Madonna has designed
her class to give you a full body workout. You will build lean muscle
and increase your metabolism and strength too. This class is open
to all levels.
Hatha
Flow Yoga: A
blend of Iyengar and Ashtanga flow. Learn correct alignment of
the body and how to deepen into the breath. This is an intermediate
class; students are encouraged to take a beginning or fundamentals
class before attempting this one.
Pilates
Mat: Starts this week!! Rachel
Gross is joining us to teach both Mat Pilates and Reformer classes
Spinning:
This is an indoor cycling workout for all
levels, from the beginner to the elite athlete. Varying class formats
include aerobic endurance, strength, speed, interval training and
heart conditioning. Beginners please arrive 10 minutes early to
get oriented to the bike, and please wear bike shorts. It is recommended
that you bring water.
Total
Body Results: Myles has designed this
class to benefit both seasoned and everyday athletes. You will get
a whole body workout while having fun too! The class is designed
with circuit training in mind-you definitely won't be bored!
Yoga
Basics:
A must for beginners and those who wish to
gain a better understanding of the principles of Yoga. This is
a great class to learn proper alignment and technique necessary
for injury prevention.
Please
be aware that the schedule is subject to change, and members are
encouraged to call the automated service for updates. If you
are unsure about trying a class due to inexperience, it is highly
recommended that you speak with the instructor of the class you
are interested in. Our instructors are more than happy to have
new students, and are always available to answer any questions
you may have.
