Kathy Brown

Kathy has been a professional in the fitness industry since 1991. She started off in group exercise as a Jazzercise instructor and then became certified as a Personal Fitness Trainer through the American Council on Exercises(ACE) in 1995. She has added to her knowledge base by becoming certified in Pilates Matwork, as a Medical Exercise Specialist, and in 2008 Muscle Activation Technique Jumpstart. In the year 2000 she received recognition from IDEA as an Elite Personal Trainer.

Her training techniques stress the importance of posture, core strength, and stabilization with an emphasis on Pilates and Swiss ball work. She believes that every person is different in their goals and history. Therefore each program is customized to accommodate individual needs and fitness levels.

Kathy continues to teach group exercise classes as a Spinning instructor at Asante and is certified as an ACE Group Exercise Instructor.

Nick Casini

As a long time local in the Lake Tahoe area, Nick has made quite a name for himself and his business, “Dynamic Strength & Conditioning”.  After studying strength training and overall fitness at Hayward State University, Nick went on to become an International Sports Science Association certified personal trainer in 1988.  He is continually seeking further education in health and strength training and became certified in Advanced Strength Training in 1999.  He has also attended over 14 seminars and conferences in his 8 years of training.  Some of those included are:

Lisa Renschen

Lisa began weight training for general health and fitness in 1984. She took a leave of absence from her career in engineering and came to Lake Tahoe in 1995 to rock climb and snowboard. In 1997, Lisa decided to abandon engineering and turn her lifetime passion for fitness into a career by getting her personal trainer certification from the American Council on Exercise.

In 1998, encouraged by friends, Lisa competed in and won the lightweight division of the California State Bodybuilding Championships. She shifted her focus to olympic weightlifting in 2000, hiring Jim Schmitz, three time USA Weightlifting (USAW) olympic team coach, to teach her the olympic lifts. She joined The Sports Palace weightlifting team and began competing in 2001. Lisa received her USAW Club Coach Certification in 2002 and attended the USAW Weightlifting and Strength Symposium at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2003. In 2004, Lisa won the 48kg, 40-44 age group class at the USAW Masters Weightlifting Championships and International Weightlifting Federation Masters World Championships.

Lisa has retired(?) from competition and now trains for her favorite outdoor sports - mountain biking, skate skiing and telemark skiing. She recently launched strengthsolutions.com, a web site for personal trainers and strength coaches, and continues to study every strength training article, book, and dvd she can get her hands on.

Linda Tripp

Linda Tripp, of Full Spectrum Fitness, has been a certified ISSA personal trainer at A Sante since 2001. She was a physical therapist assistant for 10 years, and her experience with physical therapy is a major element in her personal training. Her college degree in psychology gives Linda her considerable talent fo motivation.

Linda works with all agea and levels of clientele: athletes, people recovering from injuries, or those who want improvement in their overall health. She is also an avid nordic skate skier in the winter and trail runner in the summer. Linda enjoys attending seminars and lectures that keep her updated on current nutritional research and health and fitness innovation

Linda's goal in personal training is to make sure her clients train in a safe, effective, creative and enjoyable manner. Outdoor training is also an option. Linda loves her work and is happy to assist clients in reaching their fitness goals.
