We wanted to share the status of where we are at in regards to reopening the gym. On August 28, the Governor released a new plan for reopening, based on two key indicators, test positivity and case rate per 100,000, counties are now assessed by color, ranging from the most restrictive purple tier to a less restrictive yellow tier. Currently, Placer County is in the purple (most restrictive) tier, however, IF our numbers remain steady we could be allowed to move the Red Tier as soon as this week, allowing us to reopen the gym with modifications. We will keep you posted when we know more and sure look forward to being open again and welcoming back those of you that are ready to return!

Also, we would like to express our deepest and most sincere gratitude to everyone that has supported us through our GoFundMe Small Business Fundraiser. We’ve been closed now for close to 7 months and it’s been a super scary and uncertain time. These donations really help in our effort to get the gym to reopen and we are so humbled by all the support. This year we are celebrating 20 years in business and are fighting to be here long after this pandemic subsides. If you’re inclined, please share the word and the donation link if you think somebody might be interested in helping this small business recover.

When we can, we look forward to welcoming you back to A Sante’. We know that going to the gym—or just exercising in general—is good for the immune system, can lower stress at a time when many are experiencing higher than normal levels of stress, isolation, and anxiety, and can provide a much-needed dose of social support and camaraderie (from a safe distance of course). And while we understand that working out at the gym during a pandemic isn’t going to work for everyone, we do want to be here for those of us that need it for our long term health and well being. In the meantime, stay safe and keep on finding other ways to keep your health and fitness in balance as this is more important now than ever before.

Wishing everyone continued health!
