The day has finally come and we are happy to announce that the gym will reopen this Monday!

Placer County has recently moved to a less restrictive tier with the state allowing us to reopen the gym with restrictions. Following guidance from Placer County and the State of California, we have made many modifications to the gym to meet safety requirements allowing us to reopen. We’ve rearranged the quantity and layout of our equipment to allow for the flow of physical distancing, added a plexiglas barrier and implemented a temperature check at check in, hand sanitizer at entry and throughout gym and we’ve set up an online scheduling system to monitor the amount of guest in the gym at any given time. We’re busy getting the gym clean and ready to welcome you back starting Monday. We’ll be opening a little later on Monday and Wednesday as we get all of our staff back.
VERY IMPORTANT, please review the list below as it covers the necessary adaptations we all need to make in order to keep the gym open and everyone healthy. Please note that these guidelines are subject to change as needed if we feel it will further enhance the safety of our environment.

  • Please STAY HOME if you are sick or have been around anybody that is sick! Screen yourself for the symptoms of Covid-19.  FREE testing is available in Truckee. Please, please, please if you are feeling unwell EVEN A LITTLE BIT or have been in any high risk situations just stay home.
  • Masks or cloth face coverings are required for everyone entering and working out at the gym. By now we are all used to wearing masks in public places and the gym is no different. It’s a simple thing we all must do to minimize the risk of transmitting the virus.
  • Hand Sanitizer is required to be used by all people entering the gym and will be provided. We’ll have sanitizer located throughout the gym to reapply frequently and/or wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds as needed.
  • Practice Social Distancing in the gym (stay at least 6 feet away from others). Don’t shake hands, give high-fives, do elbow bumps, or touch others because close contact increases the risk of acquiring COVID-19.
  • Wipe Down Equipment. As you move about throughout the gym, please wipe down surfaces and equipment you’ve touched. We will provide the cleaning materials as well as have our staff wipe down surfaces frequently throughout the day.
  • No Circuit Training. To minimize the potential of spreading infection from surface contact, we request that members only use one piece of equipment at a time.
  • The Sauna will be Closed until Placer County moves to a less restrictive stage.
  • The Locker Rooms will be Closed until Placer County moves to a less restrictive stage. Please come to the gym already dressed to work out.
  • Gym Bags will NOT be allowed in the gym at this time. Please leave all personal items not needed for your workout at home or in your car.
  • Please bring your own sweat towel until further notice. Please keep it with you while you go through the gym.
  • Bathrooms will remain open but for only one person at a time. Please wash your hands whenever you use the bathroom.
  • Showers will be made available by appointment only and reservation preference given to those people that are going to work. Please bring your own towel, and store your towel in your car while working out.
  • We will only be allowing 15 people at a time to workout in the gym. We suggest you reserve your workout time on our online calendar. Drop in guest are welcome if is there is space after scheduled guest. Secure your spot by scheduling ahead.
  • All Group Fitness classes will be cancelled until further notice.
  • Please do not share items that cannot be cleaned, sanitized, or disinfected between use, such as resistance bands and weightlifting belts.

We thank you for your patience and welcome your feedback as we reopen and adapt the gym to Covid-19 prevention protocols. We’re all in this together, let’s practice good social fitnessing.

We’ve missed you and can’t wait to welcome you back!
