Kathy Brown
Kathy is not only an ACE certified itness trainer, she's also
a Medical Exercise Specialist, Post Rehabilitation Specialist,
and has received recognition from IDEA as an "Elite Personal
Trainer"! Since 1995 she has helped others reach their goals
with techniques that stress the importance of posture, core strength,
and stabilization with an emphasis on Pilates and Swiss Ball work.
Kathy also specializes in post rehabilitation of orthopedic and
sports related injuries
Not only does she love to train, she also enjoys group fitness
as well and is currently a spinning instructor here at A Sante.
She is serious about her work and firmly believes that with the
proper techniques and hard work, anything is possible.

Nick Casini
As a long time local in the Lake Tahoe area, Nick has made quite a
name for himself and his business, “Dynamic Strength & Conditioning”.
After studying strength training and overall fitness at Hayward
State University, Nick went on to become an International Sports
Science Association certified personal trainer in 1988. He is continually
seeking further education in health and strength training and became
certified in Advanced Strength Training in 1999. He has also attended
over 14 seminars and conferences in his 8 years of training. Some
of those included are:

Lisa Renschen
Lisa began strength training in 1984 while studying engineering
at the University of Missouri - Rolla. She was immediately hooked,
but her passion for weightlifting was relegated to a hobby as
she began a more practical career as an engineer. In 1997, Lisa
abandoned engineering and obtained her personal trainer certification
from the American Council on Exercise to pursue her dream of turning
her passion into her livelihood.
Lisa began competing in bodybuilding in 1998, then shifted her
focus to olympic weightlifting in 2000. She received her USA Weightlifting
(USAW) Club Coach Certification in 2002 and attended the USAW
Weightlifting and Strength Symposium at the Olympic Training Center
in Colorado Springs in 2003. Some of her accomplishments include:
- Current American Master's record holder in the snatch (51kg),
clean & jerk (65kg) and total (116kg) in the 48kg weight
class, 45-49 age group
- 2003 World Master's Champion, 48kg weight class, 35-40 age
group
- 2003 National Master's Champion, 48kg weight class, 35-40
age group
- 1998 NPC California State Bodybuilding Champion, lightweight
division
When she's not in the gym, Lisa is putting her hard-earned strength
to work on the surrounding mountains and trails, hiking and mountain
biking in summer and skate skiing, striding, and telemark skiing in winter.

Sherie
Schmidt
As a 38 year resident of Lake Tahoe, Sherie has always
been a fitness enthusiast and nurtured a passion for "lifting"
since 1987. She decided to devote herself to a career in the industry
and became certified through ACE (American Council on Fitness)
in 1997, furthering her education through seminars including:
- 2 week private internship with Sam Calhoun of Progressive Fitness
- Paul Chek's "Scientific Core Conditioning"
- Vern Gambetta's "Legs, Legs, Legs"
- Perform Better "Learn by Doing" Functional Training Seminars
Her approach to training is non-intimidating and inspirational,
while using a complete approach including weights, cardiovascular
conditioning, and nutrition. She embraces your fitness goals with
enthusiasm and professionalism, using many updated techniques (including
laughter and just plain hard work). As her client, she will make
herself available to you in the gym as well as away from it, offering
challenges you can take to the outdoors.She has completed 14 marathons,
8 Double Centuries, The Death Ride, dabbled in power lifting, and
makes daily cardio attempts all in the name of fun and fitness.

Linda
Tripp
Linda Tripp, of Full Spectrum Fitness, has been a certified ISSA
personal trainer at A Sante since 2001. She was a physical therapist
assistant for 10 years, and her experience with physical therapy
is a major element in her personal training. Her college degree
in psychology gives Linda her considerable talent for motivation.
Linda works with all ages and levels of clientele: athletes, people recovering from injuries,
or those who want improvement in their overall health. She is also an avid nordic skate skier
in the winter and trail runner in the summer. Linda enjoys attending seminars and lectures
that keep her updated on current nutritional research and health and fitness innovation
Linda's goal in personal training is to make sure her clients train in a safe, effective,
creative and enjoyable manner. Outdoor training is also an option. Linda loves her work and
is happy to assist clients in reaching their fitness goals. If you want to improve your overall
