We wanted to check in and give you an update on where things stand in regards to reopening the gym. On July 13th, the California Department of Public Health ordered new restrictions on indoor business sectors in Placer County as part of a statewide effort to slow the increased spread of coronavirus. As a result of this order, we had to close the gym again after being open for only 10 days. Although discouraging, we’ve been on standby, waiting for a green light to reopen the gym and welcome you back. Gyms are a Stage 3 business in the reopening effort as a part of California’s Resilience Roadmap and so far there is no indicator of how much longer stage 3 businesses will need to remain closed in Placer County. Gyms in our neighboring counties have been allowed to remain open.

We are doing our best to hang on during this uncertain and unprecedented time. Unfortunately, many business expenses continue each month while the gym is closed and not collecting membership dues. Due to the length of this struggle, we have started a GoFundMe Fundraiser and are seeking support from gym members that haven’t been financially impacted by the coronavirus closures. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will help. If you cannot make a donation, please consider contributing to our community in other ways, we have a long road to recovery so let’s do our best to be kind.

As a small business owner, I have so much gratitude to this community and our gym members. This year is A Sante’s 20th year in business and I’d like to thank you all for your support over the past 2 decades. Though this is a difficult time, we have every intention of carrying on as long as possible. We are resilient and will get through this together.   When we can, we can’t wait to welcome you back to A Sante’. We’ve made several Modifications to the gym in an effort to prevent the spread of the coronavirus and keep our members safe and while it’s not ideal, we want to be here for those of us who need the gym to reach & maintain health and fitness goals. In the meantime, we hope you are finding other ways to keep your health and fitness in balance. During this time, the number one thing we need to do is stay physically and mentally strong.

Wishing everyone continued health!
